ART® is a soft tissue technique that was developed to treat problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. ART® helps restore optimal motion and function to the problem area and release entrapped nerves and blood vessels. This is accomplished by removing scar tissue in the problematic area through specifically designed protocols. Scar tissue builds up as a result of over utilized muscles, repetitive motion and decreased oxygen due to constant pressure or tension. ART® eliminates the pain and dysfunction associated with these adhesions and increases flexibility.
Our clinic offers a comprehensive treatment protocol for patients that have been injured in auto or work accidents. We understand that it is confusing and difficult to know what to do after and accident. After an accident, you may feel immediate pain. In other instances, pain does not show up until 24-48 hours later, and sometimes it may be longer than that. In either case, it is in your best interest to be evaluated for any soft tissue injuries as soon as possible. Ignoring your pain will not make it go away and may actually delay the healing process.
